Tri hystings hyd yma yng Nghaerffili, Caernarfon a Rhuthun. Daeth tua 160 i Gaernarfon a 70 yr un i Gaerffili a Rhuthun.
Mae'n anodd iawn bod yn wrthrychol yng nghanol popeth ond mae pethau wedi mynd yn weddol dda hyd yma. Roedd awyrgylch y theatr yng Nghaernarfon yn siwtio llawer gwell na'r clwb rygbi a'r ganolfan gymunedol ond mae pob un wedi rhoi cyfle i siarad efo bobl newydd a chael cefnogaeth annisgwyl.
Roedd heno'n sbeshal oherwydd fod cymaint wedi dod draw o'r Wyddgrug a Wrecsam yn arbennig.
Roedd y cwestiynu yn parhau'n finiog ac yn atgoffa rhywun o ddywediad Gandhi:
"First they ignore you
Then they laugh at you
Then they attack you
And then you win."
Dan ni wedi cyrraedd y trydedd llinell cyn cyrraedd hanner amser!
Edrych ymlaen yn fawr at y 10 diwrnod nesaf yng Nghaerfyrddin, Aberystwyth, Abertawe a Chaerdydd.

Undebwr llafur yn cefnogi Marc / Trade union support for Marc
Neges o gefnogaeth gan Cerith Griffiths, cadeirydd Undeb Frigad Dân Cymru (yn siarad yn bersonol)/
A message of support from Cerith Griffiths, chair of the Fire Brigade Union Wales (personal capacity):
"I am more than delighted to be supporting Marc Jones as a Plaid Cymru candidate for the European elections. Marc has been an outstanding campaigner both at a national level and at a local level. His work in ensuring the success of the 'Saith Seren' in Wrecsam demonstrates his commitment to his local community. As an MEP, Marc would have the opportunity to extend this work on a national basis which would be of enormous benefit to everyone.
"Marc was a consistent supporter of the Fire Brigade Union during our strike and he has helped make Plaid a credible home for trade union activists."

Ymgyrchu Ynys Môn / Anglesey campaigning
Roedd hi'n braf cael bod nôl yn canfasio ar Ynys Môn eto yr wythnos yma. Mae'r ymgyrch bellach yn yr wythnos olaf a chriwiau o bob cwr o Gymru yno i helpu. Beth sy'n fwya' calonogol ydi fod cymaint o'n ymgeiswyr yn adnabyddus yn eu cymunedau, eisoes yn ymgyrchwyr ac yn bencampwyr lleol.
Dwi wedi bod yn wyth o'r 11 ward yn helpu sicrhau mwyafrif ar y cyngor newydd a beth sy'n fwyaf arwyddocaol ydi'r nifer o ferched ifainc sy'n sefyll am y tro cyntaf. Mae'r rhain yn fwy na neb yn mynd i wneud cymaint o wahaniaeth i ddyfodol gwleidyddol yr ynys a symbylu'r dechrau newydd.
It was good canvassing weather again on Anglesey this Friday. The campaign is now in its final week and really cranking up through the gears. What's most heartening is seeing so many of our candidates being recognised in the streets, in cafes and on the doorsteps. They are already local champions.
I've managed to get to eight of the 11 wards so far to try to ensure a majority for Plaid on the new council and what's most significant is the young women we have standing for the first time. This more than anything is what will make such a difference to the island's political future and symbolises a new start.

Bethan Jenkins yn cefnogi / Support from Bethan Jenkins
Neges oddiwrth Bethan Jenkins, Aelod Cynulliad De Orllewin Cymru.
A message of support from Bethan Jenkins, South Wales West AM:
"I am supporting Marc Jones as a Plaid candidate for the European Parliamentary elections as I believe that he is a strong campaigner, both on a community level in the area where he lives and works, nationally via his enthusiasm for promoting Plaid Cymru to others, and through the work that he has done with Wrexham football club and Saith Seren, showing that grass roots work is key to Plaid’s long term development.
"I believe that Marc’s politics of the promotion of social justice and equality is a huge asset to Plaid Cymru. He has a passion for what he does, and wants to involve new people in the party – people who may not have seen Plaid Cymru previously as their natural home. He is passionate about Wales and about the promotion of Wales, and I believe that if he was an MEP he would always see an opportunity to link campaigns that he gets involved in back to the streets and the communities of Wales to ensure that they are relevant.
"People always ask: 'What does the European Union have to do with us?' As the representative of a party dedicated to freedom within the European Union, I believe that Marc can and will be the candidate that will translate that abstract question in to reality.
Diolch am dy gefnogaeth Bethan.

Annwyl Ffrindiau,
Ro’n i’n falch iawn o glywed am ddiddordeb Marc yn ymgeisyddiaeth Ewrop dros Blaid Cymru.
Rwy’n credu ei fod yn ymgeisydd eithriadol o gryf a phrofiadol sydd wedi profi’i hun fel ymgyrchydd llwyddiannus ac ymarferol. Mae ei draed wastad ar y ddaear ac mae’n nabod pobl ar sawl lefel, nid dim ond y dosbarthiadau ymgomio! Mae hefyd yn hynod brofiadol wrth ddelio â’r cyfryngau ac yn gallu crisialu ei neges yn glir ac i’r pwynt. Mae’n ymgeisydd poblogaidd yn lleol sydd eto’n gallu cynnig perspectif cenedlaethol a rhyng-genedlaethol.
Rwy’n dymuno pob llwyddiant i Marc ac i’r Blaid. Rwy’n disgwyl fod y pleidiau eraill eisoes yn crynu yn eu sgidiau!

Robat Gruffudd, Talybont, Ceredigion
I was very pleased to hear of Marc's interest in standing for Europe on behalf of Plaid Cymru.
I believe he is an exceptionally strong candidate who has proved himself as a successful and pratical campaigner. His feet are solidly on the ground and he knows people on several levels, not just among the chattering classes! He is also very experienced in dealing with the media and can crystalise his message clearly and to the point. He is a popular candidate locally who can offer a national and international perspective.
I wish Marc and Plaid every success. I expect the other parties are already quaking in their boots!

Labour's hypocrisy over sheep farmers snow losses
Alun Davies, Minister for Natural Resources and Food, said there would be no financial aid for farmers who have lost stock in the snow: “You don’t create a strong business base by throwing public money at every problem you face”.
Cardiff Airport is presumably a different kind of problem?

WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR MARC JONES
Marc Jones is originally from Flintshire and has lived
in Wrecsam for 30 years. His wife is a nurse in the local hospital and they
have two sons.
Marc
worked as a journalist with the Wrexham Evening Leader, Daily Post a’r Liverpool Echo before going to work in
television, specialising in investigations with Y Byd ar Bedwar, Taro Naw and Week In Week Out.
He also
worked as a freelance journalist as well as editing Golwg magazine before going
over to the dark side in 2007 as a press officer for North Wales Assembly
Members in the North.
He joined
Plaid Cymru aged 18 and has been politically active since then as a community
activist with the anti-apartheid movement, anti-poll tax campaign and countless
local campaigns. He was active in the movement against the wars in Afghanistan
and Iraq.
He has
been a member of the National Union of Journalists for 27 years and believes
strongly that progressive unions have a central place in a modern Wales.
He was
elected to Wrecsam Council in 2008, when Plaid won a historic breakthrough for
the first time ever on that authority. As a councilor he achieved one key
election promise in establishing allotments in the ward with 54 plots.
Despite
increasing his vote in 2012, he lost by 50 votes. He currently sits as chair of
Caia Park Community Council.
He
founded and chairs the community cooperative that runs Wrecsam’s Welsh centre,
Saith Seren. The centre is a permanent legacy of the 2011 National Eisteddfod
and has just celebrated its first birthday. It currently employs five people
and hopes to expand as building work comes to an end on the first floor.
Marc
Jones says: “Saith Seren has succeeded because of the investment of about
100 people. We haven’t had a penny of public grant. Sometimes that has made
things more difficult but, in the long run, everything we have achieved has
happened because of the commitment of the members. It shows what is possible
when ordinary people do extraordinary things.”
On top of this he is a trustee of a local mental health charity and a
board member of the Wrexham Supporters’ Trust, which owns the local football
club and is another great example of people reclaiming their community.
He says: “By
standing as a candidate for Europe, I want to build on my experience of
grassroots campaigning to be a community champion for the whole of Wales. I
will certainly use my direct knowledge of establishing new enterprises to
scrutinise the use of European budgets by public bodies in Wales.”
He is
determined to make a positive difference for Plaid:
“I
first joined Plaid aged 18. I came back to the party mainly
because of the influence of politicians like Leanne Wood.
“I
have stood on behalf of Plaid for the Assembly in 2011 and the council on
several occasions.
“Since
becoming secretary of the Wrecsam branch, membership has nearly doubled in five
years because we are a campaigning grassroots branch that uses older members’
experience and younger members’ enthusiasm in tandem.
“I
believe I can contribute to raising the profile, activity and membership of
Plaid here in Wales and in Europe.
THIS IS MARC’S VIEW OF THE EUROPEAN CHALLENGE:
If I can elected to Europe my priorities will be:
• Safeguard CAP payments to Welsh farmers, to secure the viability of our family farms
• Challenge and scrutinise the effectiveness of WEFO,
the funding office for European grants
• Be a key part of Plaid’s team here in Wales
• Challenge and scrutinise the heavy-handed
bureaucracy of the European Union
• Cooperate with other parties to promote the
interests of Wales and other similar nations within Europe

PAM Y DYLECH BLEIDLEISIO DROS MARC JONES
Daw Marc Jones yn enedigol o Sir y Fflint ac mae wedi
byw yn Wrecsam ers 30 mlynedd. Mae’i wraig yn nyrsio yn yr ysbyty lleol ac mae
ganddynt ddau fab.
Bu’n
gweithio fel newyddiadurwr i’r Wrexham Evening Leader, Daily Post a’r Liverpool Echo cyn mynd i weithio ym myd
teledu, gan arbenigo yn y maes ymchwiliadol efo’r Byd ar Bedwar, Taro Naw a Week In Week Out.

ymgyrchydd cymunedol gyda’r mudiad gwrth-apartheid, ymgyrch yn erbyn treth y
pen ac ymgyrchoedd lleol di-rif. Bu’n weithgar yn yr ymgyrch yn erbyn
rhyfeloedd Affganistan ac Irac.
Mae’n
aelod o Undeb y Newyddiadurwyr, yr NUJ, ers 27 mlynedd ac yn credu’n gryf fod
lle canolog i undebau yn y Gymru fodern.
Bu’n
aelod o Gyngor Wrecsam rhwng 2008-12, pan lwyddodd y Blaid i ennill pedwar
cynghorydd am y tro cyntaf erioed ar yr awdurdod. Tra’n gynghorydd llwyddodd i

cyflogi pump o bobl ac yn bwriadu ehangu wrth i’r gwaith ar y llawr cyntaf yn
dod i ben.
Dywed
Marc Jones: “Mae Saith Seren wedi llwyddo heb geiniog o grant cyhoeddus. Weithiau mae’n gwneud pethau’n fwy anodd ond, yn y pen draw, mae
popeth rydan ni wedi ei gyflawni wedi digwydd oherwydd ymroddiad y bobl sydd
wedi ymaelodi a buddsoddi. Mae’n dangos beth sy’n bosib pan mae pobl gyffredin
yn gwneud pethau anghyffredin.”
Mae’r
fenter wedi ysbrydoli rhywbeth tebyg yn y Bari.
Ar ben
hyn mae’n ymddiriedolwr elusen iechyd meddwl lleol ac ar fwrdd Ymddiriedolaeth
Cefnogwyr Wrecsam, sy’n berchen ar y clwb pêldroed.
Dywed: “Drwy sefyll fel ymgeisydd ar gyfer Ewrop, hoffwn
adeiladu ar fy mhrofiad lleol o weithredu er mwyn bod yn bencampwr cymunedol
dros Gymru gyfan. Byddaf hefyd yn defnyddio fy ngwybodaeth o lansio mentrau newydd er
mwyn craffu’n ofalus ar ddefnydd o arian cyhoeddus gan gyrff Ewropeaidd.”
Mae’n
benderfynnol o wneud gwahaniaeth positif i’r Blaid:
“Ymunais â’r Blaid am y tro cyntaf yn 18 oed. Des i’n ôl i’r
Blaid yn bennaf oherwydd dylanwad gwleidyddion fel Leanne
Wood.
“Rydw
i wedi sefyll ar ran y Blaid ar gyfer y Cynulliad yn 2011 a’r cyngor sir nifer

Marc Jones i sefyll am Ewrop / Marc Jones stands for European nomination
Neges oddiwrth Marc
Rwy'n cynnig fy hun fel ymgeisydd ar ran Plaid Cymru ar gyfer etholiadau Ewrop flwyddyn nesaf.Bydd y cyfarfodydd dewis fis Mai - manylion i ddod.
Ymunais â’r Blaid yn 18 oed. Des i’n ôl i’r Blaid wyth mlynedd yn ôl, yn bennaf oherwydd dylanwad gwleidyddion fel Leanne Wood.
Rydw i wedi sefyll ar ran y Blaid ar gyfer y Cynulliad a’r cyngor sir, gan ennill yn 2008.
Ers i mi fod yn ysgrifennydd cangen Wrecsam mae’r aelodaeth bron wedi dyblu dros y pum mlynedd diwethaf.
Os caf fy ethol i Ewrop fy mhlaenoriaethau fydd:
• Sicrhau taliadau CAP i ffermwyr Cymru. Mae'r £350 miliwn ddaw o Ewrop yn angenrheidiol i gynnal ffermydd ucheldir Cymru.
• Herio effeithiolrwydd swyddfa grantiau Ewrop, WEFO
• Bod yn rhan allweddol o dîm y Blaid yma yng Nghymru
• Herio biwrocratiaeth trymaidd y Gymuned Ewropeaidd

A message from Marc
I'm putting my name forward as a candidate for Plaid Cymru in the next European elections. The selection meetings will take place in May - details to follow.
I joined Plaid aged 18. I came back to the party eight years ago, mainly due to the influence of politicians such as Leanne Wood.
I’ve stood for the party at Assembly level and as a county councillor, winning in 2008.
In my time as secretary of the Wrecsam branch, we almost doubled our membership and we continue to punch well beyond our weight.
If elected to Europe, my priorities will be to:
• Ensure CAP payments to Welsh farmers. The £350 million from EU funding is essential for maintaining Welsh upland farms.
• Challenge the efficiency of the EU grants office, WEFO
• Be an integral part of the Plaid team here in Wales
• Challenge the bureaucracy of the European Community
If you are able to support me as an individual member, branch or constituency please contact me on marc1ewrop@gmail.com or 07747 792 441.
Many thanks
